Our Dream Wedding in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico

Our wedding in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico was everything I could have dreamed of and so much more. When we started planning last year, we both immediately knew we wanted something very intimate with only our closest family members, but yet wanted it to feel extra special and pay really close attention to all the little details. When we started looking at destinations, we fell in love with San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.

Mexico is also the place where we had our first date, so it holds a special place in my heart. Not only that, but I love the tradition of the "Callejoneada" where you walk the streets of San Miguel after the ceremony followed by your guests with a mariachi band, a donkey adorned with colorful paper flowers and puppets known as Mojigangas. It was so fun and our guests really enjoyed it as well.

We rented an hacienda for the weekend (where all of our guests stayed) and also had the ceremony and reception there. The house was amazing and I'm so grateful our wedding planner found it. I finally received our wedding pictures and I'm so excited to share some of my favorites with you. God is so good you guys and he is always faithful. In the good times and in the bad times, he is always faithful. Hope you enjoy!

The welcome bags for our guests that included everything from water, typical Mexican candy/goodies and a hangover kit lol.

I also had this custom illustration made of us from @MoniqueVictorIllustration (you can also find her on Etsy here) and included them in our agenda. She did such a great job. I then customized the agenda from a wedding timeline I purchased on Etsy (here), which was really easy to use.
