I recently had the opportunity to attend the Flamenco Festival at the Adrienne Arsht Center. I took along my mom and Andy and we had an amazing time. I've actually been meaning to take my mom for a while now (the show is held every year) especially since she lived in Palma de Mallorca, Spain for 10 years and LOVES flamenco dancing.

I also got to attend the behind the scenes and catch up with the dancers before they took the stage. The Stars of Flamenco featured an all-star ensemble of 14 spectacular flamenco artist led by the legendary gypsy dancer Juana Amaya who is celebrated throughout Spain for her mesmerizing performance. Joining her was also Jesus Carmona and Patricia Guerrero, who has been dancing since she was 8 years old. She was super sweet and so talented.
I loved seeing how much passion all the dancers had, which translated on the stage. You immediately felt like you were in Spain. Along with the dancing, there were also many talented musicians and vocalists.
