It's been a while since I shared some of my favorite organic and non-toxic beauty products. I've been trying out several beauty regimens over the past few months to see what works best for my skin. Here are a few of my favorites:
Kypris Clearing Serum ($62) - Lately my skin had been breaking out more than usual, my dermatologist had mentioned it was a mix of hormones along with the Miami heat. This product has helped keep my breakouts under control. I use it every day underneath my make-up. It's a serum made from ingredients such as zinc, lilac leaf stem cells, green tea, quinoa and it also helps balance oil production. It goes on super light and has such a soothing effect on the skin.
Tata Harper Restorative Eye Creme ($95)- I absolutely love Tata Harper products (and did I mention she's Colombian too!) I picked this one up yesterday at the spa after my massage (so I just tried it yesterday), but my friend has been using it for a while and swears by this product. It's a restorative eye treatment that helps diminish lines, reduce wrinkles, minimize puffiness, dark shadows and gives you an overall revitalized look. It's ultra-hydrating and goes on nice and smooth. It has ingredients such as Spanish lavender, buckwheat wax and date palm extract.
Tata Harper Concentrated Brightening Serum ($230)- This is another one of her products that I love. It helps reduce hyperpigmentation and dark spots as well as give you an overall radiant look. It's made with ingredients such as Norwegian Kelp and Sea Daffodil Extract.
Tarte BB Cream ($36)- If you're looking for a BB cream, look no further than this product (and no, this is not sponsored lol). I've been looking for a BB cream that would give my skin an overall even look without looking like I had tons of make-up caked on and this definitely does the trick. It goes on super lightweight and provides the perfect amount of coverage for dark spots. It comes in five shades (I use the Medium-Tan). It's so great I've been able to use it by itself, but if you have a big event and need extra coverage you can always add to it. It also holds up so well in the heat (trust me, I live in Miami and this product is amazing). It's the only BB cream that doesn't cause me to breakout. It also comes with built-in SPF 30 and it's oil-free (which is important if you have acne-prone skin). I simply add a bronzer on my cheeks and I'm good to go.
