Get in the Picture this Mother's Day

One thing that I wish I had more of, was pictures of Andres with his dad. You see, we were always so busy taking pictures of him, we forgot to get in the picture ourselves. When my husband passed last year the pictures we did have together became that much more meaningful. I truly believe it is the memories we make that will last forever. But I know I’m not alone when it comes to this. Sometimes we just get so busy capturing those moments, we forget. That’s why I’m excited to be partnering with Garnier Whole Blends and their campaign to encourage moms out there to get in the picture.

I’ve been making it a point to get in the picture with Andres every opportunity I get. In fact, I booked my first professional photo shoot with Andres as my Mother’s Day gift to myself today—I’m so excited. My good friend and amazing photographer, Karla Garcia, will be taking our pictures. And knowing that perhaps one day Andy will be showing these pictures to his future wife and kids, God willing, you know mama has to try to look good too haha.

I already found my outfit and I’m hoping to go for a bohemian look for our photo shoot, including soft flowy waves for my hair (and maybe a flower crown lol).
