There are very few beauty ingredients that can do it all, but coconuts comes pretty close. Natural beauty devotees swear by this stuff for just about anything (including myself). I use it for everything from my hair, to removing my make-up to even make my own natural deodorant.
Here are some ways you can incorporate this wonder ingredient into your own beauty routine:
Face: Coconut oil is great for removing make-up, even the most resistant water-proof mascara. I've been using it for about one month now and love it. Simply apply it with a cotton ball and then rinse off with warm water.
Hair: I've been spending a lot of time at the beach and pool with my little guy so to keep my hair hydrated and soft, I've been using this Coconut Water and Vanilla Milk Shampoo and Conditioner from the Ganier Whole Blends line. It uses naturally derived ingredients (like Coconut Water) and it's also Paraben-free. I love that it leaves my hair looking super healthy and soft.
Body: If you're a DIY mixologist, you can even consider making your own natural deodorant using coconut oil. You simply mix equal parts coconut oil and baking soda, and voila, you've got your own natural deodorant. We also can't forget how beneficial coconut water is. It's naturally hydrating and even has electrolytes. I like to drink it by itself after a workout or mix it into my favorite smoothies.
