We All Grow Summit + Win Your Own Seekender Trip with Hampton by Hilton

Last week, I had the opportunity to attend the blogger conference, We All Grow, thanks to Hampton by Hilton. As some of you might know, I joined their Seekender team last year, which is a fun campaign all about seizing the weekend.

It was my first time attending this conference and I have to say, it was absolutely amazing. There’s so much thought and effort that goes into every single detail, nothing is overlooked. And the vibe you get is so beautiful, it’s like one big reunion among Latina bloggers.

It was also my first time attending any blogger event since my husband passed, and to be honest, this was just what my soul needed. It was great to reconnect with old friends, make new ones and just laugh.

The conference was held in Long Beach, California. After I got settled in, I headed to a cocktail party hosted by Hampton by Hilton to welcome all the bloggers.

I was also able to meet other Seekender team members including Giselle from La Vida Organica, Gus Gutierrez from A Vivir LA and my good friend Dany from Nany’s Klozet. They also had this photo booth, which are always so much fun. I always feel though I’m so awkward in these photo booths because I can never calculate when they are about to take the picture haha (I’m always mid-pose).

The next day, I woke up bright and early (5am early) mainly because I was still running on East Coast time. I headed out to a yoga class that was suppose to take place at 7am. It unfortunately got canceled, but it ended up working out even better. I met up with my friend Nikki Novo and got to meet Christine Gutierrez, a Latina Therapist (who is an absolute sweetheart) and we ended up having our own impromptu yoga session on the beach haha.

After that, the actual conference sessions kicked off. Even though I’ve been blogging for 8 years now, I still learned SO much. All of these women are absolutely inspiring. I also loved their Storyteller event, which was held the last night of the conference. Six fabulous and strong women (storytellers) got up on stage to bare their souls in eight minutes. It was so heartfelt and real.

But mainly it was great to just see all my blogging friends again. I missed them so much.
