Before
I was very undecided about whether to move back into my house after my husband passed away. I wasn't sure if I'd be able to do it. But after speaking to my Pastor, he gave me some really good advice--he suggested that I switch things up and redecorate, so things wouldn't look the same. It was like giving my mind a fresh start and it has helped tremendously.
I decided to give my kitchen a little makeover with the help of Lowe's. It's CRAZY to think what some simple white paint, flooring and cabinet hardware can do. I mean, just look at those before and after pics. This is also a very budget-friendly kitchen makeover without having to spend a fortune.
My kitchen before looked very dark, and even gloomy. But now, the white cabinets make the kitchen look bright, airy and so much bigger.
I used this white paint from Lowe's, but you can also find some great DIY resurfacing kits from Rust-Oleum at Lowe's.
I also switched out the old kitchen hardware, which immediately made such a difference. If you are ever looking to do a small kitchen update without spending too much money, this is definitely a good place to start. I found these in kitchen hardware in Satin Nickel and got them in two sizes (5 inches for the cabinets and 3 inches for the drawers). All together this was under $50 bucks.
I have linked below where you can find everything from Lowe's. I absolutely love the way it turned out. Thank you so much to Lowe's to partnering with me to do this makeover. It has meant so much to me and has really helped me to move forward in this new journey.
