Two months ago, Andres Sebastian had his first (professional) haircut. We had been trying to let his hair grow out. Ideally we wanted to go for something a la Mason (Kourtney Kardashian’s son) or Shakira’s son. We also wanted to grow out his bangs so that he could easily tuck it behind his ears. The only thing is (which we soon found out), it’s really HARD to grow out a toddler boy’s bangs. It’s not like a girl, where you can easily use clips to keep them out of their face. For months we had been using baby gel, but by the end of the day, the bangs were back in his eyes.
My husband decided to do a little "trim" and accidentally ended up cutting his bangs in the middle of his forehead---eek. It reminded me of this. So the very next day we went to the hair salon to see if they could fix it. I never realized how hard it would be to find a kid's hair salon in Miami, but we finally found one that was amazing. They had plenty of toys, the chairs were cars and they even had TV's at every station. The hair stylist ended up giving him shorter side bangs and kept his adorable little curls in the back. It was a success. Here are some pictures from his very first cut.
Do you have any fun plans this weekend? We're going to go see Disney on Ice tomorrow (for the very first time) can't wait!!
