Tips for Transitioning Your Look from Summer to Fall
One of my favorite pieces for the summer are chambray shirts. It’s pretty much my go-to uniform with white shorts and sandals. But I still like to keep this piece in constant rotation once the weather starts to cool down. To transition this look from summer to fall, I simply swap the white shorts for white pants (yes, you can still wear white after Labor Day!). And opt for ankle boots instead of sandals to make it season appropriate. I just love the way white and tan goes together.
As you probably know by now, I’m a huge fan of hats. The key here is to look for hats that are also made out of season appropriate fabrics. So instead of a straw hat, I opted for a wool hat in a burgundy color. It’s also important to transition your beauty routine. Skin can become dry and flaky once the weather cools down, so look to add a good moisturizer to your beauty regimen. I use Nair™ Brazilian Spa Clay Face Wax Strips to maintain my eyebrow shape year-round, which definitely beats having to spend so much money on constant visits to the beauty salon.
