I recently decided to switch it up this summer and cut my hair! I'm still getting use to it. At times I secretly miss my long hair, but I feel that's how it goes whenever you get a haircut, right?
It's a bit easier to style in the mornings, so that's definitely a plus---especially when you have a toddler in tow. I simply spray a texturing spray to create the beachy waves.
This summer, I've also been stocking up on jelly flats like it's my job. They remind me so much of my childhood. My first pair was when I was just 8 years old from Xuxa, a Brazilian singer who had a Spanish-speaking children's show (brownie points if you can finish this song Ilari lari e __ ___ ___ ) haha.
The grown up, stylish version are these very comfy Huarache Flats from Crocs. They come in several fun colors from pink to espresso. I wear them all the time at the beach.
I also added a new "wish bone" bracelet from a local boutique in Coconut Grove called Habit. It was only $10 bucks!
