Style Swap: Taylor's Swift Striped Dress

For today's Style Swap, we recreated this look, which was spotted on Taylor Swift. She's seen here wearing a striped dress from Kate Spade that retails for more than $400 bucks. This dress from LOFT reminded me of her look, although it's a different color and fabric. The fabric is a lightweight cotton, which really makes this dress very versatile. You can pair it with ballet flats for the day and then add some pumps and a statement necklace for the night. The A-line shape of the skirt also works really well if you have a straight shape (like me). Sometimes I tend to look like a boy in dresses, but this dress does the trick of giving the illusion of curves.

Shopping Tip: If buying online, this dress tends to run a bit big. I'm usually a size 2 in dresses, but had to get a size 0 in Petites.
