A couple of months ago I had the opportunity to meet Pascal Bodin, a stylist at Sassoon Salon in Miami Beach. He was so nice and not to mention did a great job on my hair. I asked if he could share some of his tips for finding the perfect spring style to keep your hair looking fab this season and here they are....
#1: Love
your hair long, but looking for a change? Adding discrete layers to your locks
will let you keep the length, while adding shape, movement and fullness in all
the right places.
#2: For
shorter hair, show your individuality and boost your confidence in Spring 2013 with
a cut that creates movement and contrast in the shape, like this style from the
Sassoon Autumn Winter 2012 | 2013 collection. (picture above)
#3: Try adding
bangs for a bold new look. This will create definition to your style by framing
your face and underlining your features. The natural texture of your hair will
help your stylist determine the best bang length for you.
#4: Color
should be as individual and precise as the shape and texture of your hair. Branch
out beyond just highlights or a single process this spring with panels of
color. Using multifaceted and harmoniously tonal panel shades at the same time will
create an elegant and subtle color.
#5: Make
a resolution to keep your hair healthy and shiny throughout the warmer months.
Regular deep conditioning treatments like a Kerastase Fusio-Dose In-Salon
Ritual ($30) –individually customized for each person’s specific hair needs –
will help keep your locks looking fabulous.
#6: Ask
your stylist and colorist for their creative suggestions for a new look this
season. Be open to their advice and then select the look that best reflects
your personal style.
