Cruising: Part II

Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas

Hey guys, here are the last pictures from my cruise. During our stop to the Bahamas we did an excursion to the Atlantis Resort. Have any of you ever been? It was our first time there and it was absolutely gorgeous. The resort itself has more than 50,000 marine animals in lagoons and in their aquarium, which was breathtaking. They also have some of the most amazing beaches. It  looked as if you were swimming in a pool. Our ship docked pretty early, so once we arrived, the beaches were nice and quiet. It felt as if we had it to ourselves.

For those of you that haven't been to Atlantis, it's a 600-room resort, featuring water slides, a dolphin education center, boutique shops, restaurants and casinos. You pretty much never have to leave the resort. It's also very family friendly with tons of activities for the little ones. I strongly recommend it.

Here are some more pictures from our cruise I thought you'd enjoy.

Checking out the aquarium at the resort.
Look familiar?

Early in the morning docking in St. Thomas.

Loved the classic towel figurines that waited for us each night when we arrived back in the room.
