Cruising with Royal Caribbean: Part I

Taking a walk on Orient Beach in St. Maarten

This past week the hubby and I went on a cruise on Royal Caribbean's Allure of the Seas to the Bahamas, St. Thomas and St. Maarten. We had such an amazing and relaxing time and not to mention the ship was absolutely incredible (it even has a Central Park on one of the decks). We spent our days exploring the ports, hanging out by the beach and doing some shopping around the towns. On the ship we did TONS of eating, lounging by the pool and enjoying the shows at night (from Broadway show "Chicago" to comedy shows..my fav!).

We also tried our luck at gambling and went to the Casino on the ship, but similar to my experience in Las Vegas we walked away with one penny (literally!) All the ports were gorgeous, but my absolute favorite was definitely St. Maarten. It's a small island divided between two nations. So on one side you have the French side and on the other side is the Dutch side (pretty neat). The beaches were beautiful.

But like all vacations, it went by so quick :( Here are some pictures from our trip I wanted to share with you. I'll be posting more pictures later in the week. Hope you had a great week and I'm happy to be back!

xoxo,

Carmen

Blue nail polish to match the beach.

One of the beaches in Atlantis in the Bahamas...so breathtaking.

There was no shortage of fruity drinks on this cruise lol.

Band on Steel Drums, which definitely lets you know you are in the Caribbean.

My H&M fedora that went with me everywhere

  3. Oh, you look so happy. I like your dress from the first pic.

Do you remeber? We made this year a cruise too. We started from Ft. Lauderdale, Port Everglades. I think, I saw there the Allure of the seas. We were in St. Maarten too. Do you were on the Maho-Beach/Airport. It was so funny. We made a lot of photos there. And yes, I love cruises too.
