So a few weeks ago T.J. Maxx and Marshalls put me up to the challenge to put together a global inspired look in celebration of the Olympics. Both T.J. Maxx and Marshalls source merchandise from over 60 countries around the globe from 15,000 designers, and being that I'm a huge fan I was definitely up for the challenge. I decided to take some inspiration from South America and South Africa and came up with this outfit. My first stop was T.J. Maxx in which I scored this French Connection top. I absolutely love the hardware and details of the blouse and it was a total steal for just $49. I was also drawn to the geometric shapes of these Tibi pants. Oh and they are super comfortable--another plus!
I also scored these sandals from Marshalls for under $30 bucks. The heel is the perfect height and it also has these wooden embellishments, which helps make them more casual. Where do you get your inspiration when you dress? I'd love to hear it.
What I'm wearing:
Top: French Connection via T.J. Maxx
Pants: Tibi via T.J. Maxx
Your pants are fantastic. What a neat challenge by the stores.
