Viva Fashion Headed to the White House Today!!

I'm so beyond excited to finally share with you that Viva Fashion will be part of a group of Top Latina Bloggers that will be heading to the White House today. When I first found out a few weeks ago, I almost couldn't believe it....I had to pinch myself. This is the first-ever blogger retreat, organized by LATISM (Latinos in Social Media) and Latina Bloggers Connect. As part of the retreat, the White House has invited us for a briefing to discuss issues affecting Latinos nationwide (there's even word we might even get to meet First Lady Michelle Obama).

I arrived to D.C. on Saturday and can't wait to share with you everything I've been up, including a fun photo shoot I did with a group of fashion bloggers around historic landmarks. I'll be doing some  tweeting and posting pictures on Facebook tomorrow, so make sure you follow me (@VivaFashion and facebook.com/vivafashionblog) for some live updates. I can't express how excited and humbled I am for this opportunity. When I first started my blog four years ago, I would have never imagined that one day I would be invited to the White House. Don't be afraid to dream....dream BIG! But most importantly, I'm so grateful to God for everything he has done and is doing in my life.
