So did any of you get your hands on some Wu over the weekend? I for some reason thought my
Target opened at 9am, so I didn't wake up until 8:30 only to find it opened at 8AM! I finally got there around 9:30am, but by then all the dresses were pretty much gone. The only sizes that were left were size 12 and 14. I did manage to score the striped navy and red top, which I had my eyes on ever since I saw the lookbook. I also bought the light pink polka-dot blouse and a yellow top.
I headed to another Target store this morning (just to try my luck) but the floral print skirt I wanted was only left in a size 10 and 12. There was however a couple of other tops in size Small, Medium and Large left. Did any of you buy anything? Let us know what you got?
I didn't get anything, but I do have my eye on one of his blue scarves and that solid black flared dress.

I went to the Target by my house at around 4:00 p.m. and almost everything was pretty much gone. I did however managed to get the floral blue shirt that is next to the red and blue stripe one in your pic. I also got a blue floral dress similar to the shirt with a yellow belt and the pink polka-dot blouse in the first picture of this post.
ReplyDeleteI have to say I'm pretty happy and can't wait to wear them, especially that pink polka-dot blouse.

i didn't get anything. i'm just worried all of their designer collabs are going to be crazy now.
ReplyDeleteI loved your blog post! I really enjoyed your writing style, and am so excited that Target is now carring the Wu collection.

Went to target three days after the launch in Houston and was able to try on the trench, pearl embellished dress, the blue floral sleeveless dress and the red stripe jersey dress. The store also had several navy floral skirts and tops along with the peach polka dot blouse, the peach long sleeve blouse and the white tee with satin bow tie. The store clerk said that people were lined up from as early as 5am but the crowd was orderly and polite. The bags and scarves sold out first. I didn't buy anything (the first target designer collabo that I didn't buy even 1 piece) because I didn't like the fabrics used; mostly polyester that will make you sweat and cheap jersey that was already stretched out on the hanger. Unlike past collections the sizing was on the large side I had to size down in everything.
ReplyDeleteI was at target a month after the release and bought the white polka dot dress and the blue floral shirt. They were on sale and in my size.
