I must say I'm really having so much fun putting together these Style Swaps for the blog. Not only do I get inspiration for new outfits but I rekindle my love for pieces I completely forgot I had in my wardrobe. For example this Aeropostale top I bought almost four years ago, same goes with these Aldo sandals. Anywho, I digress, for today's Style Swap I recreated this look spotted on Jessica Szohr.
My favorite part of the outfit has got to be the mix and matching of bangles. The bangles I'm wearing come from a variety of places including Marc Jacobs (bought for $8) and from bracelets I've bought while visiting my family in Colombia. I didn't have a black fedora (put that on my must-buy list next time I go shopping) so instead I went with this other straw fedora from Target. That's the fun thing about style swaps...you can add your own twist to the look. Oh and I bought these jeans over the weekend at Express. If you're looking for jeans right now they had a great buy one get one 50% off, plus I used a coupon I had (of course) so it basically came out to $35!

ReplyDeleteI looked for bangles for 3 years before I actually found some that fit. Note to all the girls out there who have big hands - Torrid has bangles that will actually fit!
