New York + Ink48 Hotel Review

On our last day in New York my husband and I decided to take a little stroll around The Village and then ended up at High Line Park. If you haven't been, it's basically a public park built on a historic rail line above Manhattan's West Side.  It was soooo pretty. My husband is a firefighter, so we also ended up taking a trip to the Firefighting Museum and the 9/11 Memorial as well.  I ended up wearing this black Zara leather jacket (I blogged about here) along with a turtle neck and Steve Madden brown boots. If you're looking for a pair of walking boots, then these are definitely it. We did so much walking that day and my feet were perfectly fine by the end of the night.  Here are a couple random shots from the places we visited.

Hope you had a great Thanksgiving weekend!

Xx,

Carmen

We stayed at Ink48, a gorgeous boutique hotel centrally located in Midtown, Manhattan. It was walking distance from some great restaurants and the city view from our room was absolutely stunning. The concierge and staff were also very friendly and helped me out with some great recommendations for breakfast. At night, the roof top pools turns into a lounge called The Press Lounge. Here are some pictures of our stay you might enjoy.

The beds were extra comfortable, and unlike other hotels I've stayed at in New York, you couldn't hear any outside noise. The rooms were also very spacious, which as you know, NY hotels can sometimes be very tiny.

Every guest is greeted with wine and a note...what a nice touch!

My city room view...sigh

You can check out more pictures of the hotel and book your own stay here.

Disclosure:  I was provided a complimentary stay at Ink48, however as always, all opinions are my own.
