As most of you (and the world) I'm sure already know, the Missoni for Target collection finally launched today. So far I've called 5 stores in my area and went to one in person and they were completely sold out, with the exception of some baby stuff here and there and the occasional size 11 or 5 shoes. I guess it is true that the early bird gets the worm, people at the Target store were telling me people were lining up as early as 7am. And there was even the occasional fighting over items. The good news is as of right now there are 1,473 Missoni for Target items on eBay, however many of them are selling for more than $200!!!
Oh and to top things off, the Target site crashed, making it impossible to buy anything online either. Oh Target, why do you break my heart...sigh. One tip though is to look in the Customer Service section, I found a bra, socks (but ended up not buying it). One lady even found a comforter set in the customer service section. Did any of you have any luck finding things? What was your experience like, please do share.
I just came back from Target (in Pembroke Pines) and everything was sold out except for socks. I couldn't believe the craziness! I heard employees saying people were buying thousands of dollars worth of Missoni. And there's already about 3000 items on ebay.

ReplyDeleteso totally crazy right? i got a few items including the rain boots (the one random pair left was in my size, score!), however women are going too crazy. i'm sure they'll restock.
ReplyDeleteI haven't even gotten a chance to go to Target. (Waiting for Friday-payday) I hope there is something left when I finally do make it in. I really wanted the bicycle, but of course it was sold out the morning of the 13th...BOO!
