Top and Skirt: Forever 21, Shoes: c/o Shabby Apple, |
This weekend was spent doing some gardening. Yup, it's a new hobby my husband and I have taken up and it's seriously hard work. We spent about 8 hours on Saturday planting the 4 trees we bought the week prior. So far, we have 1 lychee tree, 3 mango trees and 1 passion fruit in our backyard. I can't wait to see the fruit of our labor--literally. But it takes about 2 years for the lychee and mango to give fruit, so it will still be a while. Yesterday I took some time to relax and drove up to see my mom. Here are some pics. courtesy of her. It's been so hot, so I hope you don't get tired of seeing me in skirts and a bun..ha! My hair gets so frizzy and sticky, I don't even bother trying to put it down. Anywho, this weekend went by too quick and the weekend cannot get here fast enough. How was your weekend?
Hope you have a great week.
Xx,
Carmen
Love how colorful that blouse is
ReplyDeleteI love this outfit, it looks so much like something I would wear! I also love that you guys planted trees, is good for the environment and there is nothing like fresh pick mangos, hmmm yummy. I remember when I live in Venezuela we use to have 2 big trees in our house, it was the best!

Such a fun color mix, the top's print is great! This weather does the same to my hair, but think your bun looks cute!
