Fun Fact: Mannequins have been around for centuries. In fact, after the introduction of the plate glass window in the U.S. in 1868, more and more retailers started using mannequins to display clothes and entice passers by to come in the store.
Mannequins Embracing their Curves
This past weekend while at the mall (Macy's to be exact) I noticed they've been using more and more full-figured mannequins. I'm glad to see that more stores are embracing mannequins with curves and not just mannequins that are really thin (or rockin' a pair of DD's boobies like another store...lol check out a previous blog post so you see what I'm talkin' about). Anywho, have any of you started seeing more stores with full-figured mannequins (aside from stores that just sell plus-size clothing)?
