One woman in Taiwan is making good use of her old newspapers. Designer Colin Lin, confronted with an ever-growing pile of old newspapers came up with the idea of making them into shoes and tote bags for her environmentally friendly footwear company. They're actually selling like hot cakes, already selling 4,000 pairs. "My concern is for comfort, fashion and the environment," she said. Don't worry about them getting wet, Lin attaches a cotton lining and plastic coating to make them waterproof. They don't come cheap though...they cost anywhere from $100-$150, while tote bags can go for up to $260. They actually look pretty cute. What do you think...would you wear them?
