In 2006 Delta's flight attendant uniforms received a sexy make-over from fashion designer Richard Tyler. Part of the makeover included this eye catching red wrap dress. The designer promised the dress would make the flight attendants look "sexy and great." Fast forward to March 2008, when Northwest employees (airline acquired by Delta) started wearing the Delta uniforms and were not too happy. You see, this red dress is only available for sizes 18 and under. Supposedly the size 18 also runs really small. The Northwest chapter of the Association of Flight attendants- CWA has filed a grievance with Delta and have asked them to offer the dresses up to size 28. Delta has denied the grievance and it will go into mediation next month.
