*By the way (in case you couldn't tell) the top sunglasses are from Forever 21 and the bottom ones are from Ray-Ban.
Aviator Sunglasses: Designer or Not?
Okay, so I can't seem to make up my mind. For the past week I've been thinking about getting a pair of aviator sunglasses, but I've been debating whether to go cheap and get a pair from Forever 21 ($5.80) or go for a pair of Ray-Bans ($130). The reason I can't seem to make up my mind is because I've already had a couple (make that A LOT) of incidents with expensive designer sunglasses. For my birthday my husband bought me a pair of Prada sunglasses, which ended up broken when I left them on my car seat and sat on them by mistake =( I don't know if I should fork over $125 more and get the designer ones or have I learned my lesson and go for the cheap ones? What do you think? Do you spend a lot of $$$ on designer sunglasses or have you lost/broken a pair of expensive ones and now only go for cheap ones? HELP!
I've had the same problem. I've broken so many that now I only buy cheap ones. I say go with F21.
ReplyDeleteI say go for designer sunglasses. Though it is expensive compared to knock offs, it is good once in a while to treat yourself with what you want. And the important thing is you know how to take care of your designer sunglasses.
ReplyDeleteGo with the cheep ones. They look the same, and it doesn't really make a difference-- especially if you're like me and you'll see a different type of sunglasses by next summer and want those too!
ReplyDeletehmmm...depend on your need. if you just need it as a protection, then buy the cheepie, but if you need it as a fashion/style/collection just grab the designer's ones.
