Buying or Selling a Used Wedding Dress?

I got married 2 years ago and still have my wedding dress in my closet. I'd like to think I can someday wear it again when I renew my vows, that is, if I still fit in it. But it has crossed my mind a couple of times whether I would sell my dress in the future. More women these days are actually selling their dresses, especially since more brides on a budget are also looking for used gowns. I don't blame em', weddings can get really expensive. So if you're thinking about selling your dress or buying a used one, I ran into a website in a WSJ article called
PreOwnedWeddingDresses.com. Josie Daga launched this website after she had no luck trying to sell her wedding dress on Craigslist, EBay and even consignment shops. She did get some offers, but suspected they were scams. Today, the website has thousands of gowns listed (for a fraction of retail price) which include top designers such as Monique Lhuillier, Vera Wang to Amsale. You can also sell your dress on this site. The dress is posted for 12 months or until it sells and no commission is charged on the sale price. You just pay a min. $25 fee, not bad.
